New motherboard...what about case fittings?

Hey, I was wondering, if you get a new mobo, and your back of your case doesnt have the right holes. For example, if theres onboard sound, and the place where it is on the mobo is diff from your (current) case, what do you do? Buy another back?

Yes, though most boards these days come with the I/O shield they need, and most cases have a removeable I/O plate.
