Winter Echoes

Well, here we go again. A "significant winter storm" bearing in from the west (are you already catching any of this, Scuzzy?), set to arrive tomorrow night. And just today I found another section of tree-downed fence left by the last one of these dudes.



We're on the southern line for freezing rain--on the map the line cuts right through our living room, as a matter of fact, then turns left at the couch and right out on the front door.



Last time we were on the northern line and just look what happened.



So if I suddenly slip into silence here, you'll know why. I'll again be time-traveling, set back a couple of centuries. Except this time we have spare batteries for the radio.



I hope Joanie's power and connection problems in California ease up. And Bubba, may you miss out on this one. Not to mention Linda in Milwaukee and her four feet of snow. Man, it's been a rough winter.
