I have been using SpywareBlaster for a few years now, and it is among the very first security programs that I add to any fresh install of Windows. It's available as freeware, and version 4 just came out. For a voluntary donation, updates can be set to automatic.

SpywareBlaster does an excellent job of helping to keep Internet Explorer and Firefox free of spyware. It's a relatively small program that uses few system resources, and it does not conflict with most other security software. If you don't have it installed, then you're missing out on an excellent piece of software. Version 4 makes it all the better.

I am now downloading the update and I am also downloading the new Adaware 2007. It has been a while since I updated Adaware-SE.
