Problems with internet explorer

Hi there.. i've just bought a new computer with xp installed on it. but when trying to watch videos on websites i'm having no success. I have tried to play with the security levels and i think the problem is that i'm lacking some sort of java tool on the computer but i've no idea what or where to get it from. If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.

Microsoft includes no java support with IE6 by default.  You can download the MS Java virtual machine from Microsoft. but you're better off using the one from Sun Microsystems - it is a better implementation of the Java platform.
