Hi Karen,

Thank You for the report on IE 6. Many  of us are shy about Microsoft Beta's because of bad past experiences but maybe they have learned something from their mistakes and put out a decent Beta for a change.

Hi Joanie and Karen...I, too, have IE6 now (after a 3 hour download on Wednesday!) and it's working just fine...about the only change I can see is the addition of the "Personal Bar" at the top and, when I now dial in to my ISP, it shows the number dialed  in the info box...otherwise, I can't see that it's much different from IE5.5...Basil

Hi all,

Just got through with the latest langa newsletter. I think he gives some good advice on IE6 Beta as well as beta software in general.

Been using IE 6.0 beta for a few days now on my Quantex PIII 500 with Win98SE.

So far, my experience has been positive. In fact, I'm finding it to be much more stable than IE 5.5 (even though 6.0 is a beta). Has some new useful and fun features as well.

Read all about it and download here:
