Hey folks,

I received the Fong Kai FK603 case today, and I have to admit that I'm very impressed. It is solidly well built, and a pleasure to look at. It has a pleasant "OEM" type look, instead of some thrown together type box. I'm looking forward to this weekend to put it together.

I ordered the case without the power supply, saving me $10. Big deal. I would have ordered it with the power supply, except that the one it comes with is too weak to power a walnut. Aside from that, this is a very impressive case. As a matter of fact, it will replace my NEON case, which I will use for a separate system I'm building.

I've spent quite a bit of time researching computer cases, and have learned that one of the best buys on the market is Fong Kai cases. One in particular, the FK603 seems to be an excellent buy (although the larger FK320 is also worth a look).

I found two detailed reviews on the FK603. One at AnandTech, and one at Ars Technica. The FK603 is given high marks for contruction, quietness, and cooling efficiency. The price is hard to beat, too. Directron is carrying this model for $58 plus S/H, which includes an AMD approved power supply.

The FK320 is the newer and upgraded model, but costs $27 more at Directron, although it can be had for a total of $90 from NewEgg.com, including shipping through the end of the month. Reviews can be found be found at AnandTech and Ars Technica.

If you're in the market for a computer case, these cases certainly deserve being toward the top of the list.
