Welcome to Poasters.

Yes, it is possible to control one computer from multiple locations. You want something called a KVM splitter (KVM is Keyboard Video Mouse). You might want to check NTI, or look on www.pricewatch.com for best prices.

I don't use one, so cannot recommend a particular brand for you, but it should be possible to do what you want.

I am interested in having a second monitor, keyboard, and mouse that would control my computer from another room in my house...a friedn mentioned something he heard of called a "buddy" something or other



Is this even possible? If so what kind of money for the "buddy" hardware.
