Three questions -



1. Did you try putting the old memory back in?



2. Did you *ensure* that the new memory is *fully* and *firmly* seated?



3. Are you comfortable that you were given the right RAM for your system?



If your old memory works okay, then you either received bad RAM, or the wrong part.
