Hope the information with the Nero helped.



As for your soundcard, you can download the drivers from Soundblaster.com.



Qtx had two versions of the Live! soundcard- the "full retail" version, and the OEM version.  Both drivers should be available on the Soundblaster site.  



If you have not done so, it is advisable to change the floppy drive cable.

QQQ thanks  for the info on nero im going to try it.also Quantex sent me a new soundblaster live card and floppy drive about two weeks ago after i got a hold of them a month ago.I could not load soundblaster because the disc they sent with it did not have the correct drivers they want my old one back or they want me to pay for it. they sent me a letter.It took 4 months to get someone,and my system sucks. 1900.00 $ they got nerve
