From what I understand this is not possible due to BIOS limitations. The TwinHead models are very tricky when using the external Floppy or CD. Hav eyou tried calling their technical support?

hi I have an old twinhead slimnote 875cx.

these where designed with a interchangable floppy/cd drive. I haven't got the cd drive but am wondering if i can use the connection that the cd rom drive used to connect an ide drive into it? Does anyone know how to work out the pinouts for this?? These are not standard ide type connections (at least not ones i know) they are a thin d shaped pcb mount type connector if that helps.

Thanks, Ben
