Do you have an external mouse installed? Have you tried re-installing the touch pad drivers?

My Q1511 Laptop Touchpad quit working. It is enabled in the bios, but neither the pad or the buttons are functional.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. The mouse works fine, but occasionally I need the touchpad.
