I've got an old IBM A20 I use mainly for data storage and such for work. Speed is no issue so this laptop fills the bill for me. I've only got a 6G HD in it and about outta space. A friend gave me a 12G HD in an external enclosure with a USB hook up. Is there a program or option I can use to XFER entire contents of 6G to 12G and then just swap 12G into laptop and boot up?

Yes.  Either Acronis TrueImage or Symantec Ghost will do the job.  However, if the system is USB 1.1, set aside some time - it will take a while.

Thanks I've got Ghost. Thanks for reply.
