need help sending files

What Iam trying to do is send several files totaling about 100+ megs from one computer to another in my house. The reason why i need to do this is  because its the only computer in my house with a burner, also because I dont wanna buy another burner (iam putting together a art portfolio).

The only thing i have is one adsl connection that both computers  are hooked up to. So is it possible to send it through the internet to my other computer.

Iam open to any suggestions. Thx in advance

Does each PC have a separate DSL connection, or are they connected through a router-switch, router or hub?

All you need then is to enable file and printer sharing - once you do that, you can simply copy PC to PC.

If you do this, install a firewall on both PCs - otherwise, you run the risk of a security attack from the Internet - file and printer sharing is about as insecure as it gets in the computer world.
