Neon,

You make me want to start a career as a tester. Did you miss your calling? Or is CNet not hiring at the moment?

Thanks for your excellent reviews.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I have probably read a few too many online reviews when I start to sound like a reviewer. Perhaps I should send my "portfolio" over to them.

Actually, I just like building and creating stuff, and can appreciate the construction process of Mozilla. Since it's open source, you can really get into the nitty-gritty, and "watch it being built" day-to-day. It's like watching a skyscraper go up. The neat thing is, if you have the skill, you can pick up a trowel and start laying bricks yourself.

Anyway, Mozilla started 4 years ago as Netscape 5, and now the doors to the building are finally open.

Neon, I read the release on CNET yesterday. Although it sounds promising I haven't tried it yet. I second that reccomendation from Scuzzy. Your  reviews are comprehensive and easy to read. Most professionaly done. I think we should make a new Forum for Reviews by Neon. What do you think Scuzzy!  CNET could learn a lot from you.

Very good review, Neon, but I ain't doing any downloads larger than 300k. That hasn't stopped my quest for the perfect browser, however.

Luckily someone in the LangaList mentioned MyIE, which is only a 254kb download. So far I'm very impressed -- it's freeware, based on IE so the interface is familiar to most users, but it incorporates many of the best features of Opera as well as, judging from your review, Mozilla. It operates independently from IE, no problems having to revert back, so you can try it and use your regular IE at the same time. But after using the tabbed browsing interface (actually an improvement over Opera's: you can re-arrange the tabbed pages and group them as sort of sub-favorites -- save some or all of them to open at the same time later) and improved privacy features like simple history and address clearing , pop-up filter, etc., I can't see why anyone would want to. So far it's proved to be very stable and with the added features much more convenient than the stodgy IE6.  It handles Java great, plus Microsoft's proprietary sites that give Opera fits, so I'm strongly considering it as my default browser.

MyIE Web Browser 3.2

Scared me.  I saw something about a Bricklayer being here, and almost panicked.  Glad it was just Neon.

You know, that was so well written even I understood it.

You better rewrite it, then.
