Can you watch DVDs with one of these also, or do they just burn DVDs??

ZIP drives neither read nor write DVDs - they read and write only Iomega ZIP discs.

Iomega DVD burner...I guess I should just look up the manufacturer... :P

I have a Dell 9100...I need to transfer files to my other internet computer. Im thinking ZIP if its cheap enough...but then for $20.00 more I get the DVD .....

You would be better off with an external hard drive - not only can you use it to back up your data, but you can also store an image of your system on the drive for quick-restore purposes.

If you need a writer, you can replace the internal optical drive with one relatively inexpensively as well (about $100 or so).
