Hope the snake behind the fridge didn't get you, or you drowned in violent storms in Arkansas.  I don't know what you might be doing in Arkansas, unless Whiz moved to Illinois to get better weather and you moved down there to get away from him.  As long as neither of you are moving in with me in Indiana I'm good with it.  Shoot, if you stop by to move in here I'll just send you up the road a bit further so you can live with Pat for awhile.

If you're still in the land of Lincoln I hope you're drinking yourself to a happy day.  Any more it's the night, and morning after, that beats me up.  Also, if you're a Bubba I guess you're probably some working class white guy or hard working white guy or hardly working white guy (me, right now) so you're probably delegating stuff to Hillary.  That's ok, since we're in a lull in the primaries right now.  Also in the chatroom, at least as far as American Idol is concerned.

Celebrate your existence, when you get a chance.  Stop by and tell a blonde joke or a Ace and Bubba story; I always like those, even if I do wind up looking stupid.

I tell ya, that's ok... She should enjoy it while she can (although I gotta say I sure don't remember the early days...).  Eventually you get to a point where you don't want ANY day to be your birthday.

Is she old enough to have a puppy?  Reason I ask is, I found a cute little puppy in the yard. It has a white face, and a long thin tail.  It looked like it was digging, or something. Almost like going after grubs.  Oh, and it can roll over and play dead; I didn't even have to train it!  Sort of a long nose; unusual looking dog.  I'd be glad to ship it; it wouldn't weigh much and I could punch a couple holes in the box for the trip.

I'd offer it to Bubba, but I don't think opposums I mean puppies can kill snakes.  Anyway, I guess he passed out and slept through his birthday.  That's just like an Illinoisian.  Unless he just had a baby... I really do have trouble keeping people straight here.  Unless they're named for a cat, they all just sorta run together.

editor's comment:  I had to add this: I figure Buff doesn't get out much right now and maybe a joke will bring Bubba in off the hammock and into his party:

If France is a local call for you (I figure it would be, from England) try this:  Call the Cannes Film Festival and ask

"Hey, do you have Angelina Jolie in Cannes?"

and if they say sure, she's there, yell:
"CRIMINY, LET HER OUT WILL YA?!! THE POOR LADY'S PREGNANT AND SHE COULD SUFFOCATE!!"
