Multi-Media SmartCard / PCMCIA Card

Can somone help?

I have a digital camera that uses  Flash Cards.  I bought a Lexon Flash Card reader, that will also read Multl-Media SmartCards.  This reader comes with an adapter that allows you to plug a flash card into this device that looks like a SmartCard, then you plug this into the reader (drive).  This SmartCard to Flash Card adapter looks exactly like a PCMCIA to Flash card adapter.  Are they the same thing?

Not if you're referring to Smart Media and Compact Flash - they are not the same format.
