3-D Pinball Game Sound Problem

My Quantex came with Win 95-Plus as part of the original factory installation. The Plus included a 3-D Pinball game which somebody in my family is crazy about. Recently the sound has stopped working. If there is someone reading this who is familiar with this game set-up, I'd like to describe to you in more detail my problem.  I've a sneaking suspicion that some Registry editing may be called for.  Has anyone had to "tune" this game after you switched to Win 98 and also installed Microsoft Media Player?
