Hi all once again,

I am at a mates house and we are trying to network our machines through his server which we have done before successfully however this time we are facing a dilemma.  I can see him and the server and get access to the drives but I can only ping the server but not him.  He can't ping me and neither can the server hence we can't play any games accross the network.  We have checked the settings and all seems to be right.  Any clues??

By the way, I have successfully overclocked my Celeron 2.0 to 2.67 and have it stable...yay!
P4 3.0c GHz @ 3.38GHz, 1.5GHz DDR400, Albatron PX865PE ProII, Albatron GeForce 6800GT, 3 x 80Gig Seagate Barracudas, Pioneer Dual layer DVD burner, Samsung DVD ROM, Benq FP767 17" LCD, 500watt PSU, and a whole stack of neons nicely wrapped up in a black Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case.

If the problem is limited to your PC, restore the CPU to its proper operating frequency.  There's a good chance you've overclocked the PCI bus beyond tolerance for the network adapter.
