Extend monitor to desktop??

I am having a very annoying problem with my monitor/video card....

When I set  my destop to 1152x864 or higher.....there is only a chunck of the screen not showing....I can get the rest to show by moving my cursor up/down/left/right........it NEVER used to do this!!! THIS IS VERY ANNOYING....ive tried to re-install the disp. drivers.....Help! (I have also looked for an 'extend my montor to this desktop ' button, no luck)

I havent installed anything latley ecxept for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

I fixed it by updating the display drivers :D
