Sony LX910 Slimtop with Me O/S.   My boss had to do a system recovery. The Sony support staff was not the greatest. The manual stated that you can recover drive C and not have it affect Drive D. They were not sure! We did it. The only problems now are   1. The machine doesn't see drive A,
2. No USB ports are operational. 3. In the process ,we lost all (and there were a lot) email addresses.Where are those stored? If they still are?

We tried the application recovery disk , but to no avail
The printer (HP 880) won't print correctly now.

The recovery program basically formats the hard drive and re-installs Windows along with the required drivers for components that were shipped with the system.  If the e-mail addresses were stored on the 'c:' drive, they, along with all the other files that were there, are gone for good.  As for the other three issues, check the bios to make sure the floppy and the usb ports are enabled, and re-install the drivers for the printer.
