Hi Jelvis,

Welcome to the forum. A smart person should be around soon to help you. I am not video smart.

Hurry Back

Hi Jelvis,

Instead of letting windows detect and install the driver for your video card, cancel it's attempt to do so.  Then go into your control panel and use the add hardware option and just install the driver from the disk you received with your video card.

If you don't have the driver, go to www.3dfx.com

Hope this helps.

Title: Quantex Video Card
Post by: jelvis on December 01, 2000, 16:58 hrs
HI there, new to the forum. Have just installed a new hard drive and windows ME on a Quantex MA99-M433C desktop. Everything is fine apart from the video which is not detected in the AGP slot, windows keeps insisting on installing a basic PCI video driver. The Motherboard is an M6TZA and the card is listed as  Voodoo 3dFX Banshee. Hope some one may have an idea ?
