Title: Lcd Tv Problem
Post by: halokid on February 05, 2009, 14:03 hrs
I just recently purchased a  Magnavox 32'' widescreen Lcd Tv and im now noticing these transparent horizontal lines a couple of centimeters thick. They are all up and down the screen from what i can tell. and they are alternating from light to darkstrips etc. Im not sure of these lines prevalence when i first got it, as i have bad eyesight... so im not sure what to think.  Any thoughts?

ps  the lines are non-existent in bright moments, but in a medium light picture
they are more noticeable.

What kind of source are you watching?  Have you tried with a different source/source format (e.g. composite, component, RGB, etc.)?

Thanks for the replies, and J, i did try the unplug method as described in your poast to no avail.

I sent for a 6.99 hdmi cable from newegg, just to make sure its not the component....
I will poast with the results.
