X-Box hard drive

I just recieved a 8 gig hard drive from an X-Box.
Can I make this work in my PC?

Maybe, but by default the drive is password-locked by an algorithm that ties it to the hardware in the XBox.  You'd have to find a way around that to be able to use it.

Given that 40 GByte drives cost $50 now - -even 7200 rpm units - using a slow 8 GByte drive in a PC is not a good idea.
