so I thought I'd try a system tools backup for a "just in case" sort of thing. It defaults to floppies for storage? It appears to be about 10 meg and it wants to place it on floppies? I must be doing something wrong that hopefully someone will help me out. And...what's the equation for bytes to megs?

thanks

XP Backup is not very flexible or versatile.  It can backup to floppy - that's about it.  For anything else, you'll need a third-party backup utility - either an imaging utility like Acronis TrueImage or Stomp's Backup My PC.

1 megabyte is 2^20 bytes.
