Title: Internal Card Reader
Post by: syb-pi on March 16, 2004, 09:51 hrs
Advice needed on internal card readers re what type to buy and how to fit.   I am going to build Asrock K7S8X Mobo with Athlon XP2400 CPU.   I can understand the principle of fitting in floppy bay but how is it plugged in?
I still consider myself a non-techie even though this is my third system build.

I believe most of the multi-card readers use USB for both data connection and power, with perhaps extra cabling for IEEE1394. Some also include mic/headphone connections.
