Scenario: Laptop (or desktop) with no internal boot device as in floppy or CDR. Is there an external device I can use to load drivers on a new H.D.. As in H.D. is only storage device but USB parallel are available. Is there anything on the mkt. that will load drivers for me for CD access on barebones sys with H.D. (BLANK) installed?
Would the ocean be deeper if there were no sponges?

It can be done - you'll need an adapter to put the hard drive into a desktop system, where you can format it as bootable and install the setup files.  Then put it back in the notebook and boot it, kicking off the installation from the hard drive.
