Last night I upgraded the CPU, HSF, and a case fan on my main system. These were replaced:
Athlon XP 1800+ (1.53 GHz Palomino)
retail HSF with the pink thermal interface material
Adda case fan - sleeve bearing/31cfm/28dB

And the new goodies are:
Athlon XP 2400+ (2.00 GHz Thoroughbred-B) - the one AMD gave me at XPP2
Thermalright SK-7 copper HS
Vantec ThermoFlow 80x25mm fan - dual ball bearing/variable speed temperature controlled, it ramps from 24cfm/26dB @25C to 42cfm/38dB @50C

So there's two of the ThermoFlows, one strapped onto the SK-7 HS, and one replces the Adda case fan. Before the upgrade, the typical temps were about 33C case 53C CPU; right now temps are 34C case 41C CPU - a nice improvement due to the combination of cooler-running Thoroughbred and copper HS. The difference between 2400+ and 1800+ is slightly noticable, things feel a bit snappier so far, but it hasn't been torture tested yet.
