T bird BCCs

Bird ver. 1.5x
My ISP just switched domains and is now hosted by Gmail. In the conversion process and creating a new account in T bird,
the BCC copies of sent mail have stopped although it is checked in the Copies page.
I checked the Gmail account and BBCs are not in Spam filter and not on the server. All else works fine.

Any speculation or does anyone think upgrading to ver. 2.0 will solve the problem?

Turns out the problem is reportedly Gmail, not Tbird. 
BCCs sent to oneself from the same emailaddress are not downloaded by Gmail to email clients.
I did this to use the incoming mail filters.  Tbird, at least versions to 1.5 don't have outbound filter capability, as Outlook does.
