Enjoy the nature that is around you rather than destroying it.

HAPPY BIRTHDYA oh YELLOW Rose of Texas!

Wait a minute... that's Neon.

Ok; look, Happy Birthday ol' yellow rose of Florida, then.  Unless that's Cars, and then I would just offer "happy birthday."  Hope it's a festive and marvelous event.

Ace; only thing yellow I can grow are dandelions.

Well, goodness. I'm glad someone's paying attention to those having birthdays.

As such, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAROL! And that's coming from someone who doesn't yell too often. I hope the day is special for you.

My "Happy Birthdays" stopped when I skidded into 40, much too quickly, I might add.  But, Happy Birthday to one who is not as self-consumed about his age as this old fogey.   ;D

Carol

Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for the birthday greetings.  I had a quiet but enjoyable day.  Spent most of the day with my sons so that made it extra special.  Had dinner out last evening, and then it stretched into breakfast out after church this morning, and my gift from my dad will be delivered tomorrow, and then Thursday I will get my best gift yet, so, I'd say it was a pretty great birthday.

Thanks again,
Carol

It is never too soon to do a kindness, for one never knows how soon it will be too late.

Since we have until Thursday for you to get your best gift yet, I figure the birthday has expanded to birthweek, and thus feel justified in proclaiming these birthday wishes as genuinely not tardy.  ;D

Sooooo...

Is the, "best gift yet" a secret, or do you know what it is already?

I assume that would be in addition to "Ace honouring me with his presence."  I enjoy giving people birthday presence, since that way I save money on gifts.

You know, looking at the title of this thing, may I be the first to wish you a
Merry Christmas Carol!

Heck, in 6 months that will be a timely message.

Ace; I'm way ahead of the game today.

Unfortunately, we're playing Monopoly and you're playing Checkers.

And it's not "Merry Christmas Carol" - it's "Merry Christmas, Carol". You can put the period before the quotation mark, if you prefer, since it belongs there anyway. Anyways. Notice that I didn't say anything about quoting Mark, so don't get that mixed up.

I like the idea of the birthday week, though. Weak, though.

A "Birthday Carol"... I guess that'd be as good as a Christmas Carol.  Good idea.

Ace; I'm never late because I get ahead of myself.

"A Birthday Carol" featuring The Jester as the Ghost of Birthday Anniversary Greetings Yet to Be.

Ace

You know, not to hijack Carol's birthday poast, even though it's overdue and long past, but between Monopoly and Checkers I'd just as soon play Chess.

I pretty much gave up on Neverwinter Nights.  I got tired of having to read every stupid comment every stupid townsperson had to go into upon meeting...  And the complexity of the D&D dice toss moves.  I'd just rather plant down the left mouse button and hack the heck out of something.  It's too early for Madden football, and I don't do computer golf if I can play real grass stain golf.  So, at the moment, I'm sorta out of game land.

My brother and I would play Monopoly.  We'd get into a fight every single time...  Same with chess.  Now we hit tennis balls at one another.  Or golf balls, at inanimate objects.

That's what you call someone hiding in shrubbery.

Ok; so as to keep with the Spirit of the Poast, I shall now like to wish Carol a Happy Carol Carol.

Ace; maybe to the melody of the "Scuzzy's Wrong" song
Ring bells for service.

Bill

I am truly sorry you don't have the patience to play Neverwinter Nights.
Seems like you might learn something listening to townsfolk.

BTW, what the heck is  Neverwinter Nights? Some new Euro protest group?  A Green Party sub-group unhappy about snow?

You and your brother would be great at dodge ball.  Or is that dodgeball?  "Course they've probably outlawed that in Iana; just too dangerous.

Bill; checkmate.

Shoot; we couldn't play dodge ball... we'd both get hit.

Ace; you mispelled BLT, too.  Oh; happy birthday Carol.
