5 second rule

Sometimes I make multiple poasts about the same time because they're short yet consice and everything. But it doesn't let me poast until 5 seconds after another poast of mine has poasted. Kindof annoying. I know, it's to prevent spam, but maybe there could be a character filter or something for these things (that might rule out Travis's smilies...)

The delay between poasts is likely for bandwidth control. I have never noticed the delay myself.
Enjoy the nature that is around you rather than destroying it.

I thought you were talking about the real five second rule... ;D

^_^ why do you need to be poasting 2 things in 5 seconds in the first place?
Need a custom computer?

Sometimes I have a poast all typed out, and I'm offline. Then I have another one typed out, and when I get online, I click post really quick, then go to the other one and click post and there you go.

Sometimes I have half a thought, and feel I should poast it.  Or something.  So I do.  And then, 5 or 10 seconds or a day or so later I look at it and think, "Huh.  That's nothing."  And, usually leave it alone.

I think if your foot's in the lane, you can get called for 5 seconds.  Or "over and back."

Ace; or travelling.  Once, I found I passed out on my keyboard. I got called for a double dribble.  It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.
Ring bells for service.

Here's how to solve your problem:
1) Downgrade your internet to dialup
2) Buy a used 28.8 modem from eBay

You won't notice the 5 second wait ever again.

Ace

Yeah, but when you connect at 31.2 kbs like I do, time flies.

Chandler, as for the first thing, I am on dialup. As for the second, I connect at anywhere from 28.8 kbps to 41.2 kbps. Right now I'm at 40.
