Well, I've done it! I've reached 1000 poasts, and I don't plan to give up helping people anytime soon.

Hey thanks, Ace.

Truthfully, it really means a lot comming from you. Or maybe I'm just in this mode because I'm listening to My Immortal by Evanesence. But you don't have to know that.  ;)

Anyways, thanks. I try to do my best on this forum, and it feels really good to be appreciated.  ;D

Congrats. You are one of the few and proud who actually earned the 5th star. Keep up the good work.  ;)

HEY I HEARD THAT DANGIT I EARNED EVERYONE OF MY TWITCHY JERKING STARS DANGIT. CRIMINY. LOUISE.

Every stinking last funky one of them.  Both.  The smiling freak with the jingly bell neon (no, not Neon) cap too.  I did.  Sure, Cars deserves those 5 classy perfectly aligned golden glowing 5 point commemorative mementos of productive poasting.

I dang well deserve these faulty freaky jumpy reject misaligned testimonials to my contributions, which tend toward the faulty jumpy misali

Ok; look, let's get back to the topic of our poast.  Carskick, and his honorarium.  And Shelby, with his pure white fur and misaligned eyes.  Or even Scuzzy's moustache, if it'll take the attention and blame from me.  That'd be fine.

Ace; these things are worse than birthday poasts to get involved with.  With which to get involved.  Which witch.  Shoot.

Hey, I just noticed I have 5 stars. Forgot about that.  :P

Reaching 10k poasts would really be an acheivement, and at my current rate would take about 9 more years. Do I get a sixth star at that point?  ;D

I should put on a different picture of Shelby so his eyes don't look misangled. They aren't really, he was just giving me a look. You would too if I had a camera shoved in your face.  ;)

I truey do love this forum, as I enjoy helping people as much as possible, even if I am sometimes not as helpful as I'd like to be. I am working towards perfection, and this is just another step. Hey I like that quote, and I just made it up! That will be my new motto:

"I am working towards perfection, and this is just another step"

I'll put in under Shelby.

Edit - Nevermind, it won't fit there.

Oh, and I cannot forgot all the other great people on this forum:

Pat, Chandler, Whizbang, Query, Ace, Scuzzy, IanSL, Trav, Neon, Mark H, Igloo, Saoirse, and all the other great Poasters members. Together, we are strong! (Well, Ace holds us down some once in a while)

Carskick; Just jokin, Ace. You know I think you know you are awesome.

No, no. Actually, you hit it right on the nose. Ace has been dragging this forum down for quite some time. But that's okay since it's in his job description. It is to be expected. As a matter of fact, we demand it. Fortunately, he excels in this area. Afterall, we wouldn't want this forum to fly. Nor to have flies. Uh-uh.

Scuzzy; Ace is the anchor of this forum. Literally.

Well, thank goodness no one said I'm the "glue" that holds this place together.  That'd be gross.  Anchors A Weight will be my new motto.

Or maybe "I'm seeking perfection but I just lost a step."

Anyway, back to Cars and his misaligned cat.  I bet his eyes would do even more tricks if you shoved the camera elsewhere.

I mean, for a different view.  Like profile.  Really, I meant that in a nice way.  I like cats; really, I do.

Ace; more than pandas.

Actually that did cross my mind, but it was more like the tar that keeps the feathers together.

Okay, I changed the picutre. See, his eyes aren't crooced anymore! So there.

... See, his eyes aren't crooced anymore!

I didn't realize his eyes were crooced in the first picture. Heck, I don't even know what that means. But it does sound serious. I'm glad he's feeling better in the new picture.

Maybe the flash caused his eyes to crooce. It's just a guess. Or maybe when you accidentally popped him in the eyes with the camera lens, it crooced them. Or maybe not.

Scuzzy; what a crock

Ace

I used to get crooced while listening to Jim Croce.

You know, there was a new photo of Shelby yesterday; nice full body shot highlighting his/her resplendent fur and shimmering shine.  And today there's just an x-out box, like the ones Thag poasts.

I like the inclusion of photos by Poasters; we've had some classics.  I would like to see more of Scuzzy's appliances, crooced cats, Chandler's neighbor in the shower, trees by Pat, Shaun crossing over into unconsciousness, Wade's penguin, trav's more normal-sized head, and Jerry Springer's spaniel.

Her.   Scud.  Scud's a she.

This week I'm dog sitting my nephew, Radar.  Radar is a stubby yet portly terrier type, with huge appendages on each side of his head that can pick up far off radio frequencies.  Probably Scott Muni still, even.  If I can figure out how to work that public domain photo link thingy (I don't have a website; be real...) maybe I can poast a pic.  Otherwise, I shall look for others here to graphically portray their day to day existence for the betterment of mankind.

Womankind.  Photos of Sting, then, too.

Ace; criminy, political crooectness is tiring.
Ring bells for service.

Bill

If Radar is your nephew, what would that make your brother?

Croce got crooced while flyin' high.

"political crooectness is tiring" and rapidly falling out of fashion.

Well, my brother is an idiot, but it's not his dog.  It's my brother in law's dog.  He's in Florida, so we're taking care of the puppy.  It's an old puppy...

Why anyone would visit Florida is beyond me.  I mean, weren't there other disastrous venues available...?  Couldn't get a hotel room in Iraq?  Can't find a flight to Haiti right now?  No accomodations close to Mount St. Helen's?

"Oh, shoot, honey...  we can't get a timeshare cave in Afghanistan on the Pakistan border this year...."

Criminy.

Funny thing; his eyes are sorta wide spread in photos, as well as his ears.  But only when you stick a camera in his face and take a picture.

No, not my brother... Radar, the Wonder Dog.

Ace; I'm glad I don't have to be correct in my politics anymore.  That takes some of the pressure off.

But I'd bet the prices are attractive in the SunShine state at the moment.  Finding a hotel with electricity could be a challenge.

Actually I like North Korea or the Gaza  as vacation spots of choice.

Boy, that Gaza comment was prophetic.  Maybe the Sheraton in Baghdad, too.

Hey, look... I think we should return to the true moral and purpose of this poast, as a human foible, and to the commemoration of honour intended, which we should all bestow:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEON!!!

Ace; there.

Well that's one way to kill a poast - returning to the subject.
