Are you considering purchasing more RAM, but don't know what to buy or what's already installed in your system? Here's a handy utility from Vanguard Microelectronics Limited, UK that will help identify what's currently installed in your system.

Go to http://www.vml.co.uk/

From the main page go to Downloads and download DIMM ID (186kb) under "Products".  After unzipping the file, double click on the DIMM ID icon and a Dos window will open up and run the utility.

Here's the specs on the RAM installed in my system:

Happy computing!

(Sorry all, tried to post the image for my RAM specs direct, but wasn't successful.  The image is on Angelfire and the only image that would post here is the Angelfire banner.  Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?)

Good grief...did it again.  Even the link above takes you to an Angelfire banner.  Very strange, I have the link for the image saved in my favorites. When I click on it, it brings up the correct image; however, if I cut and paste the link (like I did above), it just shows the Angelfire banner.  Anyone have any ideas what's going on?  Maybe it's an Angelfire issue?

I'm at that awkward stage...somewhere between the young and the restless, and the old and the senseless.   ;)
