right- further problems


i woke up to find my new HDD had 'failed' in exotic ways. i had a gazillion messages saying D: was out of space and showed the 111GB as full (despite a max of 30, TOPS, being on there)

i since have partition magic, but not really sure what to do with it and what the benefits are. from other advice i may get winXP and use NTFS from now on.


i'm still having this transfer rate problem too

TROUBLESHOOTING. guns are the most satisfying way of dealing with pc problems.
