I think that says it all. I have never liked the way that Office 2000 converts to Word format from a web page. Quite often, I just want to print exerpts and not complete web pages. I am virtually always disappointed. I decided to dump Office 2000 in favor of Open Office, and it has continually been easier and faster to adapt to the default format. MS Office takes a very long time to convert, but Open Office converts in no more than 1/3 of the time and does so with more clarity and better page filling than MS. I continue to be impressed and have found no points in which MS is superior for my basic needs.
