PC Noise

I have seen alot of poasts about noisy computers here. This would be because of:

1. CPU fan - The CPU fan is indefinertly, the noisiest fan in the case, buying a quieter CPU fan would be better for those who like their PC's quiet

2. Power supply fan - this fan is about 2nd quietest fan on the list

3. Videocard fan - Some videocards have small fans, some have big. Usually, as I have seen, ATI's fans are small and nVidia's are big(er) (than ATI's)

4. Also, any other fans in your computer will make some noise


Rule of thumb, as I have learned from a previos poast, Louder the PC, the higher the performance :) This is because, the louder the fan, the higher it spins, therefore the better the cooling
