The problem is when you turn it on the LED's blink for a half of a second and it doen't power up, but the green battery light is on. What could it be? Is there any test I can perform? Thanks Joe L.

Reseat the memory, any PCMCIA cards, the battery, and any mini-PCI cards - if that doesn't fix the problem, it needs professional repair, unless you are versed in the art of disassembling notebook computers (the job is often not trivial).
