It seems that there is a mad rush for some very hopeful and very insecure marital proposals to be knotted on July 7, 2007 at 7:00.  Odd that there seem to be no divorces scheduled then.

I think they got a lot of the divorces over last year on June 6...

It may be that people plan out weddings more than divorces.  Probably a lot of people lying awake on the 4th of July and figured "Say, honey, let's get married Saturday since the stars line up and the numerology looks lucky."  Divorce will be probably come up on the 8th or on the days that follow. Unexpectedly.  Like road rage. 

They should have that hot dog eating contest where the guys choke down 66 Nathans on August 8 of next year.
