i just installed spyware blaster  and i set it up to "enable all protection"...do i have to worry about it being overprotective?  i am assuming no?

and is spware blaster something that i should check or scan frequently such as antivirus, or spybot? thanks again!
i'm just another helpless noob without Poasters.  i appreciate the help everyone...thank you!!!

Basically, Spyware Blaster blocks all of those "Do you want to install Comet Cursor (for example)" dialog box messages in Internet Explorer.  If you keep it updated you should be protected from all of those types of spyware.

I've been using it for some time now, with no adverse effects.  It allows "friendly" installers, such as Macromedia Flash 7 and Windows Update.
