Hi, I just installed the free version of Avast when I already had the free version of AVG for Windows. Then, I got a message saying they were incompatable and some parts (or all parts?) of Avast had been disabled. So, what should I do now? Uninstall AVG? Will that cause Avast to work? I also got a message saying that if the Avast icon was blue, it was working...and it is blue. But it's not working? Aaarrgh...I'm not exactly a computer pro.

Hello and welcome to poasters.
It?s not a good idea to install two AV programs at the same time. Running two AV programs at the same time can cause major conflicts.
Always uninstall your current AV software before trying one from a different vendor.
The same rule should also be applied to firewall software.
