I'm running windows xp pro, and I just got a 16gb usb flash drive.  I am trying to transfer a file that is 6 gb onto the drive, however windows says it is full.  The USB drive is empty.  Can anyone help?

This could be a limitation of the hardware that you are using to read the card. Older card readers may not recognize it, but it is not a limitation of Windows XP.

Is it formatted as FAT32?  FAT32 has a 4GB file size limit.  You need to use NTFS.
