My son has my old IBM Aptiva M-50 . The present video card or video source comes right off the motherboard. I just pulled my Matrox Mill. 2 card and replaced it, can he install the Mill. 2 card in his Aptiva with out a major battle. I am sure he has an open PCI slot, but can you disable the video drivers and such with the motherboard video configuration ? and will it really display any different,,, his is listed as a Trident video driver,,,[ aka IBM original driver ]
