This a new deal where you get 1,000 minutes a month for $30, no other charges. It uses verizon towers and reviews say it is reliable and few dead zones. You can keep your current phone no. but you have to buy a new cell phone. They say the best is the motorola for $79 at walmart. Anyone have experience with this. I hate paying att a $1 a day access fee and being double charged by the fact minutes are billed BOTH to the caller and the callee.

Tom,

Take a look at these reviews, a very mixed bag.  Kinda pays your monry and takes your chances!

Yeah, Bill, Clark is where I first heard of it. Most seem to be satisfied with it. I've read a lot of reviews of their selection of the cell phones. The $100 motorola gets consistent bad reviews while the $78 motorola gets consistent good reviews. It's just a matter of time before I bite the bullet and dump att.
