On my old PII box (the one I use for chatting and stuff) the internet stopped working.  We got a techie in and he ran stingers and all that, but still couldn't find the problem.

So, yesterday I chucked a sickie and formatted and reisntalled 98, spending hours trying to find the *insert profanity here* display drivers.  So, I get everything set up, and I realise wat the problem was.

Baud rate = 111k

Modem & ISP = 56k

Talk about felling dumb.
