What version are you using?
You may not be able to update the file definitions unless you?re using the latest version.

Tonight I was able to download updates for AdAware SE 1.03. Same thing last (actually week before lst) Tuesday on a friend's PC. I don't have any probs.

I switched to Adware Safe, cause I was having the same problem!

I haven't heard of that software, which is probably a bad thing, as some 'antispyware' programs (the less reputable ones advertised in popups) are actually spyware in and of themselves.

"Spybot Search & Destroy" (on our download page) should do everything you possibly need, especially when combined with "Spyware Blaster"
