foggy,

Using the import tool, select "OE6" for the mail program along with the location of where you backed up the folder. It should then work just fine.

I could not open outlook express and had error 'directdb.dll' associated with it. The only way to resolve this without re-formatting was to install IE6, all sorted !

I backed up my e-mail folders containing the e-mails into a seperate folder.

How do I import my old e-mails into outlook express, it says I can import from other mail programs like OE4, OE5 or Outlook, fair enough, but my folders are saved in a seperate 'back up' folder like the Microsoft Knowledge Base suggested that I do, so I did, to the letter.

Please help as I do not want to lose these.

I am using Me OS.
