Monitor use

Have an older Gateway SOLO that has been a lemon since day one.  I was not principal user but now have possession of it.  Would like to use just the monitor.  Perhaps hook up someway to Dessktop Web Server to view on smaller monitor.  Possible.

Even the keyboard on the SOLO is goofy...restored whole laptop....not good for anything but what I want to use it for.   Can not even hook up to Web....tells me not enough memory even though I have no programs on it.

You can't use a notebook as a monitor - not without some major modification of the hardware.

You can use it as a terminal (VNC) if you can get it running, though.
