Are Case and Motherboard Manufacturers Going Different Directions?

Many more motherboards are using heat pipe designs for cooling the north and/or south bridge chips. Several new cases are going with inverted motherboard designs (Lian Li mostly). If the heat pipe does not have a wick in it, then inverting it will cause the heat pipes to work incorrectly causing higher temperatures.

Ugh!
