Hi,

My girlfriend has a Sony Vaio (PGC-K125B) laptop.   We're trying to access the BIOS so that we can change the boot priority, but we cannot seem to get in.   When the system is switched on, we just get a black screen with a blue Vaio logo, followed by a black screen with a blinking cursor; it then loads Windows.   Nowhere can we find an option to enter the BIOS.   Can anyone make any suggestions how I can get into the BIOS of this laptop.

Cheers,
Marc.

p.s. if it helps, the BIOS is Phoenix Technologies Ltd. R0108XI, 12/04/2004.

Thanks for the link, Pat.   It looks like hitting ESC when the splash screen displays allows you to change the boot priority or enter the BIOS.

Cheers,
Marc.
