Through various links, beginning at The Langa List, I came across this free software. It's a CD-R Identifier, and tells you who really made that CD-R you're holding, and the dye process that was used. The software is available here: G&M.



If you use the software, along with the information learned here: CD Media World, you'll know exactly which is the right disk for you, regardless of the name brand.
